BLIT.md workspace memory

Keep durable style, subject, world, and production direction in the memory your agent reads before its first create in a workspace and after lasting corrections.

BLIT.md is the workspace's durable art-direction memory. A new workspace starts with no hidden style prior: choose an onboarding pack if you want a starting draft, or let the agent build the document from your words, references, and corrections.

What belongs in BLIT.md

  • Style canon: edge and line treatment, palette and lighting, material finish, and role-specific rendering rules.
  • Subject and world canon: lasting identity facts, named characters, places, props, and forbidden mutations.
  • Standing production preferences: recurring canvas, composition, pixel-grid, and delivery choices.
  • Pinned examples: stable asset or workspace-file addresses that the agent can pass back as style and identity references.

How the memory affects a create

The server does not parse BLIT.md into hidden generation defaults. The agent reads it, copies the relevant role rules into the current create call, and supplies pinned examples as explicit references. Your latest request wins whenever it conflicts with standing memory.

BLIT.md is one revisioned document. When the agent records a durable decision, it preserves unrelated sections and updates the whole file with an optimistic revision check.
